About My 1st  Exhibition in NYC // August 3rd.

Title// Adopted Tales for The Young at HEART

Adopted Tales for the Young at Heart features the work of three emerging illustrators from Canada, Korea and Brazil whose work provide a fresh eye to illustration traditionally geared towards children. With three very distinct styles, this exhibit brings to question where the line between illustration ‘for children’ and ‘for adults’ lies, or whether that line even exists.
Participating Artists: Ruth Chan (ohtruth.com), Sandra Javera (sandrajavera.com), and Violet Paek (violetpaek.com).
With special music performance by Han Chung Eun at 7pm [possibly an additional music group, we’re awaiting confirmation from them. I will confirm with you when we’ve heard back from them.]

My drawings are put into print for  the Mother’s Day cards of  Queens Library in Astoria. They are selling the cards for fundraising to help purchase study materials in the  library’s program.
